BMC reveals details of 5th COVID19 patient for public interest


Bhubaneswar: In view of larger public interest, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) made it public the name and details of the 5th COVID19 patient urging people who have been in contact with him to remain in home quarantine forthwith.

The 5th patient is Pradipta Dalabehera (60), Plot no. 37, Ward No. 46, Unit-7, Surya Nagar, Bhubaneswar.

Public who have come in contact with him since 1st March, 2020 shall keep themselves to home quarantine forthwith for 14 days from the date of contact, informed BMC commissioner Prem Chandra Chaudhary.

The man of Surya Nagar, who tested COVID19 positive, has no travel history.

BMC has sealed the affected area. However, it will ensure uninterrupted supply of goods/services. BMC has disinfected the locality as part of ‘cluster containment’ strategy.
