Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has appointed three secretaries to oversee and monitor the coronavirus situation in Jajpur, Bhadrak and Balasore districts, where a hike in coronavirus positive cases has been reported.
As per an official order, the secretaries will monitor the COVID-19 situation in the three districts.
While Excise secretary S.K. Lohani will monitor the situation in Bhadrak district, secretary to Governor P.K. Meherda will oversee the COVID situation in Jajpur and Agriculture special secretary S.K. Vashishth in Balasore.
The secretaries have been advised to get a detailed briefing from the Health secretary and other COVID observers engaged in Bhubaneswar.
