Bhitarkanika National Park in Odisha reopens for tourists

Bhubaneswar: Bhitarkanika National Park in Odisha’s Kendrapara district reopened from Thursday for tourists to enjoy the flora and fauna.

The park was closed for tourists and visitors following enforcement of lockdown in March this year in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic.

On the first day, 13 tourists spent the night in Bhitarkanika.

The tourists enjoyed spending the night at Dangmal as well as roaming around on government boats.
