Primary schools likely to open in Odisha soon


Bhubaneswar: The physical mode of teaching for class 1 to 8 students in schools across Odisha is likely to resume soon as the state government is preparing the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for opening of the primary schools.

School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Saturday informed that a decision regarding the reopening of schools for class 1 to 8 students will be taken at an appropriate time.

SoP is being prepared for reopening of the primary schools.The final decision in this regard will be taken after the approval of the Government, he added.

Notably, the Anganwadi centres across the state have started functioning from February 1.
