Another journalist dies of Covid in Odisha

Berhampur: Another journalist from Odisha succumbed to COVID-19 on Monday.

The deceased, Kishore Chandra Dash (61), was working as a correspondent for the vernacular daily ‘Samaja’ for Polsara in Ganjam district.

Dash died in the wee hours while undergoing treatment at Tata COVID Hospital, said sources.

Dash was associated with the leading Odia newspaper over the last three decades.

Notably, a journalist Pradeep Sahu (43), who was working as the district correspondent for the vernacular daily ‘Sambad’ in Berhampur, died of COVID recently.

As many as 19 journalists in Odisha have lost their lives due to the pandemic so far.
