Doorstep sample collection for senior citizens in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Senior citizens in Bhubaneswar will now be able to get their Covid test done at the doorstep with just one call to 1929 helpline number, informed Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) commissioner Sanjay Singh.

The citizens in the 60+ age group, staying alone, will be extended this facility from Monday.

Senior citizens who have any symptoms can dial 1929 and share their residential address. A van will arrive at their doorstep to collect sample for the Covid-19 test, said Singh.
