Covid scare: Odisha govt shuts colleges, universities from Jan 10

Bhubaneswar: Amid the rising COvid cases, the Odisha Government has decided to close all colleges, universities, and technical institutions effective from January 10.

All the hostels in the institutes will also remain closed with effect from January 10. Students have been advised to avoid staying in the hostel in the interest of their personal health.

According to an order issued by the SRC, Odisha, authorities of the educational institutions will take all appropriate measures for conducting classes through online mode.

All ongoing examinations will be allowed to continue per the programme, read the order. Coaching institutes will not run offline or physical classes, said the order.
