Traffic diversion at Hanspal due to construction of Naharkanta flyover; check new route

The NHAI and construction firm officials have requested traffic diversion during construction of Naharkanta flyover at Hanspal Square, Bhubaneswar for a period of 126 days w.e.f. 22.03.2022 to 25.12.2022 on NH-16.

In order to facilitate the construction works for the benefit of the commuters, there is need for diversion of the vehicles for free flow of traffic at the aforementioned road on NH-16 for safety and security of commuters.

During the construction work of Naharkanta flyover at Hanspal all the vehicles on NH-16 coming from Cuttack side intending to go towards Bhubaneswar side shall not ply on NH-16 from Puri Canal to Kuakhai Bridge and they shall be diverted through the service road starting from Puri Canal to Kuakhai Bridge.

The diversion for construction of Naharkanta flyover is approved for a period of 126 days 22.08.2022 to 25.12.2022, informed police.
