The Odisha Cabinet has proposed to provide 5 per cent additional mark to the healthcare workers, who were temporarily engaged during COVID-19 pandemic.
Considering their noble works during the COVID-19 pandemic period, it has been proposed to provide 5 per cent extra marks on the total marks of the recruitment examination to be added to the marks secured by the shortterm COVID-19 healthcare workers who were engaged in by Health and Family Welfare Department and performed COVID-19 duty for a minimum period of 3 months subject to the award of marks upto the maximum marks for which recruitment is conducted as an onetime measure only for the next one recruitment process to be conducted after commencement of these rules.
The State Cabinet has proposed to frame “the Odisha grant of weightage in marks in the Recruitment for Short-Term COVID-19 Healthcare workers Rules, 2022.
