Jessy cries conspiracy, pleads her innocence over Raja’s death

BHUBANESWAR: Television actress Pralipta Priyadarshini Samal alias Jessy has cried of conspiracy against her arrest over death of Odia actor Ranjit Patnaik aka Raja even as the family of the deceased demanded police to punish the culprit.

Jessy has been arrested by Balasore police for abetment to suicide in the death case of Odisha television artist Raja.

Jessy, who underwent a lie-detector test on Wednesday, alleged that she is being framed, and it is a conspiracy against her.

She said while police had released her on a personal recognisance (PR) bond, the next day she was arrested, which the tele actress sees a conspiracy.

She also pleaded her innocence over the death of Raja, her lover being attributed by Ollywood industry.

On Wednesday, the popular television actress undertook around 6 hours of the polygraph test in State Forensic Laboratory in Bhubaneswar. She was asked about 45 questions about the death incident and her relationship with Raja.

Meanwhile, the uncle of Raja, Amiya Patnaik said the culprit should be punished for the death of Raja.
