Raja’s death: Jessy shown kidnapped in tele serial

BHUBANESWAR: With the arrest of tele serial actress Jessy on charges of abetting Odia actor Ranjit Patnaik alias Raja to commit suicide, the story of ‘To Aganara Tulasi Mu’ being telecast in Sarthak channel has witnessed a dramatic turn with the kidnap of ‘Ichha’.

Jessy was playing the character of Ichha in the hit telly serial To Aganara Tulasi Mu.

Sources said the producer and director have started searching a new actor to play the role as Jessy is not likely to get bail soon.

Jessy was playing a prime role in the tele serial. Even though 700 episodes were already completed, Jessy portrayal of ‘Tulasi’ won many hearts all over Odisha.

The Popular Odia television actress Pralipta Priyadarshini Samal aka Jessy began her career as a child artist in the serial Ganga-Jamuna -Saraswati in a local channel. Later, she was offered the role of ‘Sana Bohu’ in the mega serial Swabhiman.
