Daladiri Hamlet Of Deojhar Village Gets Electricity, LED Bulb To Each Family


Joda: The OMQ Division of Tata Steel provided two transformers along with all electrical infrastructures on Tuesday to electrify the Daladiri hamlet of Deojhar village in Keonjhar district.

The company provided two transformers of 25 KVA and 16 KVA. These two transformers were charged and connected to the nearest 11KV NESCO grid.

Along with the transformer charging, one LED bulb to each family was gifted by Pankaj Satija, GM (OMQ), Tata Steel.

This rural electrification project was inaugurated on October 3, which would cater to 36 Below Poverty Line (BPL) families residing in Daladari village.

The villagers from Daladari appreciated Tata Steel’s effort to bring light to their homes.

As part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Tata Steel has been serving the community through its intervention in sustainable livelihood, infrastructure development, education and healthcare services for over a century now.
