Teachers of Bahrain will learn sand art from Sudarsan Pattnaik

Puri: Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has been invited by the Economic Development Board (EDB), Bahrain to attend a sand art workshop cum training program.

Around thirty teachers from the Ministry of Education in Bahrain will participate in this workshop.

In the five-day workshop, Sudarsan will teach them the various technique of creating sand art. The workshop will be held at Beach, where the participants will be able to create their own sand sculptures.

“I am happy to join this training program. We will teach them about sand art so that they can implement it,” said Pattnaik.

Sudarsan will leave for Bahrain with his student Ajit Kumar Sahoo on Saturday.

Padma Shri awardee sand artist Sudarsan recently created world’s tallest sand castle at Puri beach which was set a new record in Guinness World record. So far, he has participated in more than 50 international sand sculpture championships and festivals around the World wand many prizes for the country.
