Gayatri Sharaf, Suryamani Khuntia to receive Kendra Sahitya Akademi Award

Bhubaneswar: Gayatri Sharaf and Suryamani Khuntia, two litterateurs from Odisha, will be conferred with the prestigious Kendra Sahitya Akademi Award.

While Sharaf will get the award for her short story collection ‘Ita Bhati Ra Shilpi’, Khuntia will receive the Translation Prize by the Akademi for his book ‘Juganta’.

A decision in this regard was taken by the Executive Board of the Sahitya Akademi at its meeting on Thursday.
