Business Excellence Meet-2019 of XIMB inaugurated

Bhubaneswar: The three -day Business Excellence Meet-2019 of Xavier Institute of Business Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) was inaugurated here on Friday.

In his inaugural address to the students, industry and business leaders who met for the occasion Chief secretary Asit Tripathy advised to consider the people as important stakeholders of the business.

Tripathy added, “People are the important actors in economy and hence, their interest should be prioritized in the business and corporate world. Considering people as participants would help in sustainable growth of the business house itself.”

Addressing the gathering, vice-chancellor Xavier University, Fr. Antony lighted upon different dimensions of ‘innovating business’. 

President, TQM and Steel Business, Tata Steel Anand Sen, Registrar, Xavier University Fr. E.A. Augustine and Academic Dean Dr Shridhar Kumar Dash addressed the inaugural session. Anjan Mohanty, General Secretary Student Executive Council coordinated the session.

 The Business Excellence Meet-2019 will be held for three days from today to 15th September 2019. The entire seminar has been slated in 11 sittings including the inaugural and closing ceremony.
