Puri Heritage Corridor project work to resume from May 29


Bhubaneswar: Reviewing the progress of Puri Heritage Corridor project and Ekamra Kshetra project, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday directed to resume work on them from May 29.

The work was stopped due to COVID19 lockdown.

CM advised to resume the work maintaining social distancing and following Govt guidelines.

Land acquisition will be completed in 3 months for Sri Setu, Jaganaath Ballav Tourist Centre, Mahodadhi Market Complex & Musa River project while draft designs has been prepared for Sri Jagannath Heritage Corridor, Bada Danda Development, Admin Building and Jagannath Cultural Centre.

Land acquisition work will be completed for Ekamrakshetra Yojana soon.

Design plan for the development of the area between Lingaraj Temple and Bindu Sagar is ongoing and the work will resume shortly.

 An MoU will be signed with Indian Chemical Institute for cleaning Bindu Sagar soon.
