Sand Art Park by Manas Sahoo on Puri beach

Puri: On the occasion of Christmas, renowned sand artist Manas Sahoo has created a sand art of Santa Clause at Puri beach on Monday.

He wished people in a unique way by projecting international arts on the beach of Puri.

“There are mostly three major sculptures which give out a message of world peace. In one such sand sculpture, the lovable Santa Claus comes to the city of Puri through the bay of Bengal on its sledge vehicle and showers gifts on children,” said Manas.

Here people can celebrate the Christmas and New Year in a unique way by watching sand art, sand art gallery and sand animation presentation altogether, he added.

The sand sculptures of this park consist of 10 feet to 15 feet, taking Sahoo nearly 60 hours, using 100 tonnes of sand to complete. This has been made possible with the efforts of Sahoo along with ten of his students of his Sand Art Institute.
