Committee formed to select Vice-Chancellor for Berhampur University

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor has set up a three-member committee to select new Vice-Chancellor for Berhampur University.

The tenure of present Vice-Chancellor RP Dash ends on August 3.

The selection committee headed by former bureaucrat Chinmay Basu will recommend the names to Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal, said a notification.

The Governor, who is the Chancellor of Berhampur University, will finally select the next Berhampur University Vice-Chancellor from the recommendations of the selection committee.

The last date for applying for the post has been fixed on August 20.
