Hyderabad: All four accused in the Hyderabad veterinarian’s rape and murder case have been killed in an exchange of fire with police on Friday morning.
The accused were killed in the early hours of Friday when they allegedly snatched weapons from the police and tried to escape while the police had taken them for recreation of the rape incident.
Police sources said the incident took place around 6.30 am near Chattanpally in Shadnagar, the same spot on the outskirts of the city where the crime had taken place.
The 27-year
old veterinary doctor was abducted and raped on 27 November. The accused had
dumped the victim’s body and set it afire on the night.
