Odisha: Two get death penalty in minor rape case

Bhubaneswar: A POCSO court in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district awarded death penalty to two rapists in the sensational rape and murder case of a minor in Tirtol in 2014.

The accused have been identified as Sheikh Asif and Seikh Akil.

As per reports, the accused had kidnapped a minor girl who was returning home after buying chocolates for her.

They then raped her at a secluded place and killed her.
